World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, Illinois has received another prestigious award. The track has been named co-recipient of the 2020 Salute to Southwestern Illinois Award along with World Wide Technology, Incorporated. The award is presented based on WWTR’s success in driving substantial, positive worldwide media attention and significant economic growth in the area. Track spokesman John Bisci gives the credit to track owner Curtis Francois.

Gateway Motorsports Park is the home of IndyCar, NASCAR and NHRA racing in the St. Louis region. The award will be presented at the Salute to Southwestern Illinois Award Dinner on Thursday, March 19.
