Dixon Police

Fredy N. Herrera, age 29, of Dixon, Illinois, was arrested in the 200 block of East Mckenney Street on Thursday, June 23rd , at 7:30 p.m., for Driving While License Suspended, Driving Under the Influence, Illegal Transportation of Alcohol as Driver and Disregarding a Stop Sign. Herrera was processed and released on an Individual Bond.

Shane P. Celestino, age 37, of Sterling, Illinois, was arrested in the Unit block of South Peoria Avenue on Friday, June 24th, at 12:24 a.m., for Driving Under the Influence and Speeding. Celestino was processed and released with a Notice to Appear.

Morrison Police

On Tuesday, June 21st, at approximately 9:10 pm, Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Sylvia C. Hobson, age 36 of DeWitt IA, for a moving violation in the 700 block of West Lincolnway.

As a result of the traffic stop, Morrison Police arrested Hobson pursuant to two Arrest Warrants; one issued by Ogle County charging Hobson with Failure to Appear – Speeding and the other issued by Whiteside County charging Hobson with Failure to Appear – No Valid Driver’s License. Morrison Police also charged Hobson with No Valid Driver’s License and Operating a Vehicle with Suspended Registration. Hobson was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
