Rock Falls Police
Brenton L. Muntean, age 23 of Dixon, was arrested during a traffic stop in the 1900 block of 1st Avenue. Charges include Speeding (26mph-35mph over Limit) Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine). Muntean was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
Dixon Police
Derrick L. Enlow, age 32, of Dixon, Illinois, was arrested in the 1900 Block of Cummins Street on August 4th, at 7:13 PM., for two counts of Possession of a Firearm Without Requisite Firearm Owners Identification Card and one count of Possession of Ammunition without Requisite Firearm Owners Identification Card. Enlow was transported to the Lee County Jail.
Morrison Police
On Friday, August 5th, at approximately 12:30 am, while patrolling, Morrison Police discovered analtercation occurring between three persons in the 100 block of East Market Street, Morrison. As a result of the investigation into the altercation, Morrison Police arrested James B. Jones, age 36 of Fairbury, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Lee County, charging Jones with Contempt of Court. Jones was transported to the Whiteside County Jail. The incident otherwise remains under investigation by the Morrison Police.
The public is reminded that these are merely charges and all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
