Sterling Police
On Thursday, July 21st, Michael Donaldson, age 26, of Sterling was arrested after a traffic stop in the 1500 block of 6th avenue, for driving while license suspended, a Lee County warrant for Failure to Appear, Jo Davies County warrant for driving while license suspended. Donaldson was transported to the Lee County Jail.
Dixon Police
Jessica Engelkens, age 37, of Dixon, Illinois, was arrested in the 1600 Block of North Galena Avenue on July 21st, at 08:20 A.M., for Lee County Failure to Appear Warrant. Engelkens transported to the Lee County Jail.
Heidi E. Cornelius, age 33, of Dixon, Illinois, was arrested in the 1500 block of West 4th Street on Sunday, July 17th, at 11:00 P.M., for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Cornelius was released with a pending court date.
Robert Odle, age 59, of Dixon, Illinois, was arrested in the 1800 block of South Galena Avenue on Tuesday, July 19th, at 12:09 a.m., for Possession of
Methamphetamine. Odle was taken to the Lee County Jail.
Ulysses Hemminger Jr., age 22, of Como, Illinois, was arrested in the 1500 block of Lowell Park Road on July 19th, at 10:56 p.m., for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. Hemminger was taken to the Lee County Jail.
Travis Carter, age 30, of Dixon, Illinois, was arrested in the 600 block of West 7th Street on July 19th, at 9:39 p.m., for a Lee County arrest warrant for Failure to Appear. Carter posted bond and was released with a court date.
Levan A. Smith, age 42, of Dixon, Illinois, was arrested on 200 Block of South Hennepin Avenue on July 19th, at 5:38 A.M., for Lee County Warrant for Failure to Appear – First Appearance. Steele was unable to post bond and was transported to the Lee County Jail.
Morrison Police
On Wednesday, July 20th, at approximately 5:04 am, Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Christopher S. Bourke, age 41 of Morrison, in the 600 block of South Portland Avenue for equipment and registration violations. As a result of the traffic stop, Bourke was issued three (3) citations for No Valid Driver’s License, Expired Registration and Operating Uninsured Vehicle.
Bourke was also arrested pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Rock Island County, charging Bourke with Failure to Appear – Theft. Bourke was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, was processed and then released on bond. Morrison Police were assisted by the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office.
Polo Police
On Tuesday, July 12th, Ann M. Sutkay, 31, Milledgeville, was cited for speeding 42 MPH in a 30 MPH speed zone. Sutkay was released on an I-Bond.
The charges are merely an allegation and all parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
