Sterling Police

Ashley L. Underhile age 24  of Sterling.  Walk In – 212 3rd Avenue for Whiteside County Warrant (FTA- Post Bond Driving While License Suspended)  and Theft. Given Notice To Appear.

Morrison Police

On Friday, July 22nd, at approximately 9:08 pm, Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Annette S. Harms, age 64 of Morrison, on East Wall Street at Ash Avenue, Morrison, for an equipment violation. As a result of the stop, Morrison Police arrested and charged Harms with Only One Red Taillight and Driving Under the Influence (Alcohol). Harms was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, was processed and then released on a Notice to Appear.

On Sunday, July 24th, at approximately 11:30 pm, Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Justin R. Wallander, age 27 of Morrison, in the 500 block of East Knox Street, Morrison, for a registration violation. As a result of the stop, Morrison Police issued a citation to Wallander for No Valid Registration and arrested him pursuant to an Arrest Warrant (Order of Commitment) issued by Whiteside County for a Civil Complaint. Wallander was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.

On Wednesday, July 27th, at approximately 8:39 pm, Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Paul H. Maxfield, age 65 of Morrison, in the 600 block of North Jackson Street, Morrison for a registration violation. As a result of the stop, Morrison Police arrested and charged Maxfield with No Valid Registration, Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Driving While License Revoked and Unlawful Possession of License Plate (Class 4 Felony). Maxfield was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.

On Friday, July 29th, at approximately 12:56 am, Morrison Police arrested Megan A. Hatfield, age 28 of Morrison, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Carroll County, charging Hatfield with Possession of Adult Use Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle. Hatfield was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.

The public is reminded that these are merely charges and all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
