Dixon Police
Haley J. Boyungs, age 18, of Dixon, Illinois, was arrested in the 400 Block of East First Street on June 16th, at 1:28 P.M., for a Lee County Warrant for Aggravated Battery to a Peace Officer. Boyungs was processed and then released after posting bond.
Shavawn M. Bell, age 43, of Sterling, Illinois, was arrested in the 600 Block of Cedar Street on June 16th, at 10:44 A.M., for DUI and Illegal Transportation of Alcohol. Bell was processed and released.
Morrison Police
On Sunday, June 12th, at approximately 10:32 pm, Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Adam N. Harvey, age 44 of Omaha NE, in the 400 block of East Lincolnway, for an equipment violation.
After stopping the vehicle, Harvey fled from the vehicle. Morrison Police apprehended Harvey and discovered the vehicle was stolen out of Clinton IA. Morrison Police charged Harvey with Driving While License Suspended (Class A Misdemeanor), Obstructing a Peace Officer (Class A Misdemeanor) and Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle (Class 2 Felony). Harvey was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Wednesday, June 15th, at approximately 4:02 pm, Morrison Police responded to a domestic dispute at 403 Badger Court, Morrison. As a result of the investigation and with the assistance of the Erie Police Department, Shari L. Hanz, age 57 of Morrison, was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery and Violation of an Order of Protection (both Class A Misdemeanors). Hanz was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
