Badflower frontman Josh Katz has shared an update on the band’s upcoming sophomore album.
“The heavy songs are even heavier, the soft songs are even softer,” Katz says.
“The sass level is unmatched,” he continues. “The emo level is infinite. I’m scared.”
Katz didn’t offer any release schedule, so it may be some time before we hear what infinite emo level sounds like. Though last Friday, Badflower officially released a recording of the live-only song “Move Me.”
Badflower’s debut album, OK, I’m Sick, was released last February. It includes the singles “Ghost,” “Heroin,” “The Jester” and “Promise Me.”
This summer, Badflower will be on the road while opening for Incubus and 311‘s North American tour.
