Bond Set For Princeton Man Charged With Child Pornography

Bond has been set for a Princeton man charged with child pornography.  39-year old Nicholas Bouslog appeared before a Bureau County judge for his bond hearing on Friday.

The registered sexual predator is charged with possessing and disseminating child pornography, both Class X felonies.

According to a report from Bureau County Assistant State's Attorney Thomas Briddick, investigators last week found hundreds of images of child pornography and dozens of videos depicting children under age 13 on Bouslog's phone.

Briddick asked that Bouslog's bond be set at $250,000.  Bureau County Public Defender Raymond Nolasco asked for a $100,000 bond, citing the fact that Bouslog does not have a job and his family can't afford to make bail.  Bond was set at $125,000.

Bouslog's trial date was set for May 11.  If convicted, he faces anywhere between 6 and 30 years in prison.
