The Bureau County 4-H Public Presentation Contest is on March 20, 2023, at 5 PM at the University of Illinois Extension Office, located at 850 Thompson Street in Princeton. 4-H excels in preparing youth to speak confidently and the Presentation Contest allows youth to highlight their presentation abilities in a supportive environment. The kids will learn from professionals as well as their fellow 4-H members. Youth ages 8 to 18 can participate in Bureau County’s Public Presentation Contest.
Speech categories include formal, illustrated, original works, and oral interpretation. Participants selected at the local county level will advance to the state contest on April 29th at Parkland Community College in Champaign.
To participate in Bureau County’s contest or become an enrolled 4-H member, contact Danielle Gapinski, Bureau County 4-H Program Coordinator, at [email protected] or 815-875-2878.
