Bureau County Sheriff Seeking Snow and Ice Removal Bids and Lawn Care Services Bids

The Bureau County Sheriff’s Office have announced that bids are being accepted now for Snow and Ice Removal as well as Lawn Care Services bids. Businesses seeking these contracts can submit bids starting today, January 25th, 2023 with a decision to be made on what bid is accepted very soon. The Snow and Ice Removal Contract bid is good through the start of Spring. The Lawn Care Services Bid contract will run through the end of 2023.

Bidders take note: A professional performance is demanded when providing this service.
Bids must be submitted to the Bureau County Law Enforcement Center, 800 Ace Road, Princeton, Illinois 61356, no later than 4:00 PM on Wednesday, April 5th 2023 to be opened at the Building and Grounds Committee meeting at 5:30 p.m. Bidder attendance at the meeting is not required, but highly recommended. Bids shall be submitted separately as one (1) total and inclusive price for the snow/ice removal services and one (1) total and inclusive price for lawn care services as requested. Hourly and daily rates are not acceptable and will not be considered.
All bids shall be submitted within a sealed envelope and prominently marked either “Lawn Service Bid” or “Snow/Ice Removal Bid” along with the name of the bidding company or individual. Failure to meet the requirements will void the contract. The Sheriff and the Building and Grounds Committee reserve the right to waive any or all technicalities regarding this bid purchase and to reject any individual or all bid proposals.
