The USDA says export numbers during the week ending February 13th were mixed. China didn’t buy any U.S. soybeans or pork, but 15,000 tons of U.S. pork were shipped to Chinese ports, and they did purchase sorghum. Corn exports were larger than expected, but wheat and beans fell short of pre-report estimates. Soybean meal sales were also lower than anticipated and bean oil fell within the projected range. Beef exports were up on the week, mainly heading to Japan, South Korea, and Mexico.
