Better buckle up. Police departments throughout the state are increasing efforts to ensure drivers are wearing seatbelts, The “Click It Or Ticket” began Monday and will continue until June 4th. The State Division of Highway Traffic Safety warns that police officers in at least 130 departments will be extra vigilant in ticketing those who aren’t wearing seat belts. Amongst some of the municipalities participating this year are Lower and Middle Townships, Avalon and North Wildwood, the Crest and the city of Wildwood in Cape May County, ten municipalities in Atlantic County and Vineland in Cumberland County.
