As previously reported, David Byrne will be the musical guest on this weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live, which airs at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC. The ex-Talking Heads frontman has now revealed the songs he’ll sing on the program: renditions of his former group’s 1983 hit “Burning Down the House,” and the 2008 tune “Toe Jam,” which he originally recorded with U.K. electronica artist Fatboy Slim‘s The Brighton Port Authority project.

The 67-year-old Rock & Roll Hall of Famer will perform with the cast of his hit Broadway stage production David Byrne’s American Utopia, a percussion-heavy ensemble of international musicians and singers. Comedian John Mulaney will host the show.

This weekend’s Saturday Night Live performance will be Byrne’s first since a November 1989 appearance on the late-night show. David also performed on SNL with Talking Heads in February 1979.

American Utopia ended its initial run at the Hudson Theatre on February 16, but it was announced recently that it will return to the venue for a new 17-week engagement that starts September 18 and winds down January 17, 2021.

Tickets are on sale now at AmericanUtopiaonBroadway.com.
