
MACOMB, IL – A Delavan, IL, man was arrested Wednesday, suspected for the May 5th burglary of a 22-foot enclosed trailer as well as a motorcycle, UTV, and ATV.
According to reports, the owner of a property in New Salem Township was alerted by his neighbor on May 5th of a suspicious vehicle that had been spotted in the area. Upon arrival, the owner discovered that his trailer and vehicles had been stolen and alerted the McDonough County Sheriff’s office, who investigated the scene of the crime.
The next day, detectives received information that the stolen property was in Pekin, IL, and coordinated with Tazewell County to locate the stolen property, which was located at a rural address in Tazewell County. The UTV and ATV were discovered and returned to the owner the following day.
Following this, the McDonough County detectives identified Kyle E. Sebree, 30, of Delavan as the suspect in the case.
Sebree was later located in Shannon County, MO, and has been transported to the McDonough County Jail where he is currently housed with a $25,000 cash bond.
