Florence + the Machine is teasing an appropriately themed ’90s cover for the upcoming second season of the Showtime series Yellowjackets.
In a video posted to Twitter, frontwoman Florence Welch shared a clip of her putting on a Yellowjackets letterman jacket while a snippet of her singing No Doubt‘s “Just a Girl” plays in the background.
“So happy I got picked for the team this year,” Welch writes in the caption.
While we only get about 10 seconds of the cover, you can already tell that Welch and company made “Just a Girl” their own, turning the ska punk classic into something that would sound at home on a Machine record.
Yellowjackets season 2 premieres March 24. The show switches between 1996 and the present day as it follows a group of people who survived a plane crash.
