Are Foo Fighters bringing their Cal Jam festival to the capital?
Over the weekend, Dave Grohl‘s band started teasing something called “DC Jam.” “Coming soon,” they wrote in a tweet posted Saturday.
The Foos first launched Cal Jam in San Bernardino, California in 2017, and held the festival again in 2018. The 2018 edition included a brief Nirvana reunion performance featuring Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear.
Back in 2015, Foo Fighters held a massive July 4 concert in Washington, D.C. to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their 1995 self-titled debut album. This year, of course, marks the band’s 25th anniversary.
