Geneseo Police have taken to their Facebook page to ask for the help of the public in locating a missing teenager. According to the Geneseo Police Department, 16 year old Danisha 'Dani' Shoemaker was last seen at her home on Sunday, February 23rd. 

 

A social media note from the family of Dani Shoemaker states "Dani was last seen being dropped off at Ridgewood School on 7th St in East Moline. We had three cars out looking tonight, but no luck. East Mo PD has been looking hard as well. She told the person who dropped her off that she was going to her brothers house. Dani's biological brother, and now family to us, lives a few miles from that school. However, it has been over 30 hours since she was dropped off there. We shared her photo with local laundry mats, gas stations, etc. We believe she could still be there, but may also try to make her way to Davenport. Keep praying. Keep sharing!"

Danisha is described as 5 feet 3 Inches tall and 135 pounds. She was last seen wearing a purple t-shirt, skinny jeans, white converse, a jacket or a hooded sweatshirt.
