
April 28th is Worker’s Memorial Day in the State of Illinois and it will be celebrated in Marseilles, Illinois in a very special way. A plaque dedicated 21 people killed while protesting the use of Out of State workers on a Federal project in Marseilles in 1932 will be unveiled during an event beginning at 5 p.m. at the Illinois Valley Cellular Parking Lot, located at 200 Riverfront Dr, Marseilles, IL. Governor J.B Pritzker will be on hand for the dedication and rock star Tom Morello, from the band Rage Against the Machine, will be there to perform a live acoustic set in honor of Worker’s Memorial Day.
