Green Day‘s upcoming tour of Asia has been postponed due to concerns over the COVID-19 coronavirus.

“We have unfortunately made the difficult decision to postpone our upcoming shows in Asia due to the health + travel concerns with coronavirus,” the punk rockers tweeted early Friday morning.

“We know it sucks, as we were looking forward to seeing you all,” the statement continued. “Hold on to your tickets we’ll be announcing the new dates very soon.”

The Asia dates were set to kick off in March. The shows were not part of Green Day’s upcoming Hella Mega tour with Fall Out Boy and Weezer, which launches in June.
