Hayley Williams is gearing up to release her debut solo album, Petals for Armor, this spring, but she’s also got another musical project in the works.
The Paramore frontwoman has revealed that she’s back in the recording studio, but she clarifies that what she’s working on isn’t for Petals for Armor. Instead, she’s tracking a cover for a project with her hair dye company, Good Dye Young.
“Back in the studio,” Williams writes. “Covering a song/band I love for some upcoming shenanigans with @gooddyeyoung.”
Williams didn’t disclose exactly what those “shenanigans” will entail, however, so stay tuned.
Petals for Armor is due out May 8. Earlier this month, Williams released the five-track Petals for Armor I EP, featuring the singles “Simmer” and “Leave It Alone.”
