The Illinois House of Representatives Wednesday approved a resolution sponsored by House Republican Leader Tony McCombie (R-Savanna) that urges fire chiefs and city personnel to promote a culture of training, communication, and accountability through utilizing Crew Resource Management Training to help prevent line-of-duty deaths.

House Resolution 247 comes from Brittney Ramos, the widow of Lt. Garrett Ramos a Sterling Firefighter who lost his life in the line of duty while responding to a fire in December 2021.
