If You’re Voting Absentee This November, Here’s What You Need To Do!


Nodaway County Clerk Melinda Patton,  says, all registered voters who need to vote an absentee ballot for the November 8 General Election, that those ballots are available
in the County Clerk’s office. Anyone needing to vote absentee because of illness or absent from the polls on Election Day may do one of the following:
1) Submit a request in writing by email, mail or fax and include: name, address, mailing address if different, signature, date of birth, and the last
four digits of their social security number and your absentee excuse.  2) Call the office for an absentee application and we will send one to you or
go to nodawaycountymo.us, on the Elections Info page and print off the application.
3) Vote in person (September 27 – November 7) in the County Clerk’s office Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Bring identification ie:
non-expired driver’s license, non-driver’s identification card, passport, etc.  The final day to mail an absentee ballot to a voter is Wednesday, October 26 th . The final
day to vote absentee in person is 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 7 th in the County Clerk’s office.
