With Mardi Gras approaching, consumer finance website WalletHub is judging which states are the most sinful and Illinois landed at number 8.
The Land of Lincoln ranked high for vanity, anger, hatred, greed , excess and vices. Nevada leads the nation at number 1, followed by Texas, Florida, California and Georgia.
Vermont was ranked the least sinful, followed by Wyoming, Idaho, Maine and New Hampshire.
