Lawmakers are considering a push to repeal the Trade-In Tax less than 2 months after the tax became law. The Trade-In Tax was among many taxes that kicked in at the start of 2020 and placed a never before seen tax on the value of vehicle trade-ins. The tax has proven to be a detriment to the trade-in business and now, it appears, lawmakers are starting to listen to industry insiders and consumers regardin the tax.
