Illinois State Police District 1 Announces Monthly Activity for November 

Illinois State Police District 1 Commander, Captain Matthew Hodgdon, has announced District 1 enforcement figures and activity for November. 

 

Illinois State Police District 1 Troopers issued 601 citations, 619 written warnings, and made 7 criminal arrests during the month of November. Speeding accounted for 382 citations, 69 citations were issued for occupant restraint violations, 21 citations were issued for distracted driving violations and 7 citations were issued for move over violations.  Troopers investigated 32 traffic crashes, assisted 136 motorists, and conducted 179 commercial vehicle inspections, 19 of which were placed out-of-service for safety reasons. There was 1 arrest for driving under the influence. 

 

District 1, which encompasses Carroll, Lee, Ogle, and Whiteside counties, had no traffic crash fatalities in November.
