Glen M. Mundell, 22, of Ashton, was stopped for improper lane usage on 1/26/2020 at 2:31 a.m. on Creston Road at Dement Road in Rochelle and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance, and improper lane usage. Mundell was released on an I-bond.
Lydia Ann Beatrice DeYoung, 31, of Chicago, was stopped for speeding on 1/29/2020 at 9:21 a.m. on Interstate 88 westbound at milepost 37 in Whiteside County and charged with driving while license suspended, speeding 26-35 mph over the speeding limit, and failure to secure child in a child restraint system. DeYoung was released on an I-bond.
On 1/29/2020 a motorist called 911 after observing a subject who appeared to be passed out behind the wheel at the intersection of IL Route 251 and US Route 30 in Lee County. Upon arrival the subject was still on scene with the vehicle on, foot on the brake, passed out. Matthew A. Williams, 30, of Winnebago, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, improper parking on the roadway, failure to carry a driver’s license while operating a motor vehicle, and no insurance.
All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
