ISP Bust Missouri Woman in Meth Trafficking Arrest in Quincy

A 34 year old woman from Monroe City, Missouri has been arrested by the Illinois State Police in Quincy, Illinois, following an investigation of methamphetamine trafficking. According to information provided by the Illinois, Amanda M. Carroll was arrested on Tuesday, March 14th as part of an investigation being conducted by the Illinois State Police (ISP) Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) West Central Illinois Task Force (WCITF). Carroll was nabbed in a traffic stop and a probable cause search of her vehicle turned up more than 250 grams of methamphetamine.

On Thursday, charges were formally announced and included Methamphetamine Trafficking (Class X Felony) and Methamphetamine Delivery (Class X Felony). Carroll’s bond was set at $500,000, 10 percent to apply. The investigation into Carroll’s activities is ongoing.
