Kewanee High School’s Senior Makenna Peed competed at the IHSA Girls Track & Field Meet in Charleston Illinois on Sat May 20,2023.
Peed qualified for the Wheelchair Shot Put, Discus, 100m Dash, & 200m Dash.
She placed in all 4 events Saturday:
Wheelchair Shot Put -3rd Place, Wheelchair Discus- 3rd Place, Wheelchair 100m Dash- 2nd Place, and the Wheelchair 200m Dash- 2nd place.
Peed has qualified for the state track meet 3 years in a row. In those 3 years she has won 12 state medals.
