On 11/12/2023 at 12:44 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of N 21st RD & E 24thRD. (Grand Rapids TWP) Jenna Simmons (18) of Grand Ridge was cited for speeding 75 mph in a 55 mph zone.
On 11/12/2023 at 10:16 pm LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of E 1553rd RD & N 4012th RD. (Freedom TWP) Karl Bowker (56) of Earlville was cited for improper lane usage, operating uninsured motor vehicle and arrested for DUI alcohol. He was transported to LASCO Jail and later released with a NTA.
On 11/13/2023 at 4:38 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle car Vs deer accident with no injuries in the area of RT 71 & E 1251st RD. (South Ottawa TWP) Melissa Guerrero (40) of Ottawa was driving west on RT 71 when a deer entered the roadway. She was unable to avoid the deer and struck it with the front end of her vehicle.
