On 3/3/2023 at 7:01 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle car Vs deer accident with no injuries in the area of RT 52 & I-39. (Troy Grove TWP) Mauricio Martinez (42) of Mendota was driving west on RT 52 when a deer entered the roadway. He was unable to avoid the deer and struck it with the front end of his vehicle.
On 3/3/2023 at 11:23 pm LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 71 & RT 6. (Rutland TWP) Alija Fejzoski (45) of Belvidere, IL was cited for improper lane usage and operating uninsured motor vehicle. He was released with a NTA.
