On 6/4/2023 at 1:30 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single motorcycle accident with injuries in the area of N 2650th Rd & E 1529th RD. (South Ottawa TWP) Manuel Salazar-Vazquez (56) of Plainfield, IL was driving west on N 2650th RD when he lost control of his motorcycle, entered the north ditch and struck a tree. He was life flighted to OSF Saint Francis Peoria.
On 6/4/2023 at 10:04 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of N 27th RD & E 18thRD. (South Ottawa TWP) Michael Munci (22) of Marseilles was driving west on N 27th RD when a deer entered the roadway. He was unable to avoid the deer and struck it with the front left corner of his vehicle.
On 6/5/2023 at 1:51 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 71 & RT 52. (Mission TWP) Johanna Vetter (43) of Rockford, IL was arrested for DWLS. She was released with a NTA.
On 6-5/2023 at 6:53 pm LaSalle County Deputies responded to 483 RT 71. (LaSalle TWP) for a domestic disturbance complaint. Subsequently John Cate (33) of Oglesby was arrested for domestic battery and transported to LaSalle County Jail.
