On 6/5/2023 at 4:51 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a two vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of RT 23 & N 26th RD. (South Ottawa TWP) Amanda Genseke (35) of Streator was facing south on RT 23, stopped in traffic when a vehicle traveling n/b on RT 23 behind her struck the back of her vehicle. Kelly Hert (33) of Cornell, IL was driving south on RT 23 when her vehicle struck the back of Amanda’s vehicle. Kelly was cited for failure to reduce speed/accident.
On 6/6/2023 at 1:50 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 178 & RT 71. (Deer Park TWP) Liliana Polo (21) of Ottawa was cited for improper display of registration.
