The Mayor of Galva and the Mayor of Kewanee are working together on promoting the census. Mayor Rich Volkert of Galva tells WKEI that the two Mayors have been talking recently about making sure that students at Black Hawk College get counted… 

Mayor Volkert says that for college students it can be confusing and schedules can cause trouble in getting counted so it is important to get the reminder out there… 

Kewanee Mayor Gary Moore tells WKEI that the census count is a significant concern and one he's going to continue to promote going forward…
