Macomb — A Macomb man was stopped in traffic on Route 41 for possession of Methamphetamine Sunday night according to the County Sheriff’s Office press release.
The press release mentioned that deputies stopped the vehicle because the driver did not come to a complete stop at a stop sign on IL route 41 at US 136. The owner of the car was Justin Ketcham, 29, of Macomb.
Sources said during the traffic stop, some deputies detected an odor of burnt cannabis which gave them probable cause to search his vehicle. After the search was conducted, Ketcham was found with numerous strands of methamphetamine and cannabis.
Ketcham was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine under 5 grams. He is now stuck in the McDonough County Jail where his bond is set to $10,000. The original story can be found on wgem.com
