On the 12th of July, Commander Larry Zuidema awarded Mark Schuler (formerly of Schuler Chrysler Dodge) a Certificate of Appreciation. The citation read “For innumerable Years of Outstanding Dedication and Service to the people of Morrison and The American Legion Post 328 by his unwavering participation in the Memorial Day parades for over two decades”. Mark drove several dignitaries (from Legion Commanders to Mr & Mrs Claus and everything in between) over the years in parades in one of his antique Dodge cars. Standing left-to-right behind Schuler are Past Commander Terry Jones, Parade Coordinator Jim Prombo, Adjutant Ken Petersen and Commander Zuidema.
