MACOMB– The Youth Task Force of the McDonough County Community Quality of Life Advisory Committee is seeking to recognize the youth of McDonough County. Nominations are open to all school-aged children enrolled in public or private schools.
Nominations are now being accepted from residents, organizations, school officials, teachers, and school staff who believe a student, a group of students, or a student organization which need to be recognized for “their actions in the service of others demonstrating their commitment to improving the quality of life for residents of McDonough County.”
If you do not choose the on-line nomination format, nominations should be legible or typed and limited to a single sheet of paper. Contact information should include name, address and telephone number of nominator for verification. The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, March 27, 2020. Nominees will then be given a notification the week of April 6th.
Notification will be given the week of April 6th. Awards will be presented at the local School District Awards assemblies this spring if applicable.
