MACOMB – The McDonough District Hospital Medical Group recently announced a new option to schedule appointments to the Family Clinic.
The new ‘Hold My Spot’ option provides convenient services by MDH Family Clinic when scheduling appointments. Patients can stop by the clinic or call (309) 837-6937 to hold the next available appointment time. This allows patients to avoid sitting for an extended period of time in the waiting room.
The convenience schedules for walk-in patients are different from those who schedule an appointment time with the MDH Family Clinic primary care providers.
“At MDH we know your time is valuable. That is why we are excited to offer the Hold My Spot option for our Family Clinic walk-ins in order to decrease our patient wait times and maximize care for the community,” said Sarah Kosel, Office Assistant Trainer. “You can either call in at (309) 837-6937 or walk in and reserve an approximate time at the front desk.”
“MDH understands the lengthy wait time when you already do not feel well is something everyone would like to avoid. By using the Hold My Spot option to schedule an appointment time that is convenient for the patient, we can decrease wait times while being sure that all the needs of the community are met and they are seen in a timely manner,” said MDH Family Clinic Practice Manager Patti Kessel, RN.
