McDonough District Hospital, along with area businesses and individuals, welcomed the first baby in the Dolores Kator Switzer Women’s Center.
Ledger Haines Pumo, son of Chris and Breann Pumo and younger brother of Lincoln, was born Friday morning (Feb. 21). He weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces and measured 21 inches.
Hy-Vee and Nostalgia each donated a gift basket to the family. In addition, businesses donated certificates, books, baby blanket and more to the family. Those businesses include: Libby Heaton Photography, MDH Gift Gallery, MDH Outreach, New Copperfield’s Book Service, The Crafty Coop, and Sports Corner @ 124.
