This was also a past time she passed on to her sons. She also enjoyed knitting and made several projects for her family members. Donna loved Christmas & every year would go out of her way to make it exceptional for her family from presents stacked to the ceiling, to an abundance of baked goods filling her home. More than anything, Donna loved time with her family, there was nothing that brought a smile to her face like her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Poem: “Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow, but remember me in every tomorrow. Remember the joys, the laughs, the smiles. I’ve only gone to rest for awhile. Although my leaving causes pain and grief, my going has eased my hurt and given me relief. So, dry your eyes and remember me, not as I am, but as I used to be. Because I will remember you all and look on with a smile. Understand in your hearts I’ve only to rest a while. As long as I have the love of you, I can live my life in the hearts of all of you”
