Doris L. Allen, 102, of Macomb passed away at 6:22 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

She was born on October 5, 1919 in McDonough County, Illinois to Ross and Elsie Corbitt Brown. She married James Allen on April 18, 1942 in Adair. He passed away on February 27, 1993.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; three daughters, Vicki Bowley, Kay Henderson and Suzanne Hagan and one brother, Carroll Brown.

Doris is survived by nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Doris lived all of her married life in Macomb. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Macomb for many years.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2022 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Macomb with Pastor Kelly Ingersoll officiating. There will be no visitation.

Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church.
