Everett “Dale” Head, 80, of Good Hope passed away at 6:13 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2023 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.

He was born on September 20, 1942 in Macomb to Howard and Helen Goff Head. He married Beverly Jean McNeeley on October 6, 1962. She survives.

Also surviving are one daughter Becky Jean Head of Good Hope; one grandson, Troy Emmett Carey and one great-granddaughter, Vaida Carey.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister and one brother.

Dale lived in Good Hope all of his life. He worked for Norcross in Bushnell. He was a self-employed upholsterer for several years.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Private grave side burial of ashes will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials may be made to the Good Hope Fire and Rescue Squad.
