Franklin H. Woolam, 86, of Macomb passed away at 2:57 a.m. Friday, March 24, 2023 at the Lamoine Retirement Living Center in Macomb.

He was born on December 11, 1936 to Lloyd M. and Virginia M. Price Woolam. He married Linda Strode on June 8, 1958. She passed away on August 6, 1988.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Susan Woolam and siblings, Dick Woolam, Rosalee Gray and Evelyn Pittman.

Frank is survived by his children, Steve (Keela) Woolam of Macomb, Mark (Nancy) Woolam of Peoria and Greg (Glynda) Woolam of Atkinson, Illinois; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, siblings, Robert (Cindy) Woolam, Donald (Barb) Woolam and Betty Keithley and a very Special friend, Evelyn Rock.

Frank lived all of his life in the Macomb area where he farmed for 26 years. He also was an insurance agent since 1988 and worked for Building Services at Western Illinois University for many years before his retirement. He was a 4-H leader for 15 years. He served on the Northwestern School Board. He was a member of the Good Hope Lions Club.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb with Pastor Imelda Ramos officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Good Hope Cemetery in Good Hope with full military rites being conducted by the Macomb American Legion and Macomb VFW.

Memorials may be made to the Good Hope United Methodist Church or St. Jude’s.
