Gary l. Gallahue, 80, of Macomb, Illinois, passed away at 12:55 AM Wednesday June 8, 2022 at his residence.

He was born Nov. 28, 1941 in Illinois to George and Frances Gallahue; he married Sherrill Roberts on June 18, 1980. She survives.

Also surviving is a daughter, Cindy TwoFeathers (Stan) Clayton of Macomb, Illinois.

Several grandchildren survive.

He served in the Air Force from 1959-1963.

After serving in the US Air Force, Gary was employed as a Mechanic in Macomb for Mounce Motors, Harley Graves in Macomb; a Diesel Mechanic for Cummins in the Qua Cities and a Mechanic at Freeman Cole Mine in Industry, IL.

Gary spent years as an Over the Road Semi Truck Driver.

Gary started playing the guitar at the age of 6; he was an accomplished well known and respected musician.

Gary loved and cherished his wife Sherrill of 42 years. Gary was a man of faith and knew Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior. His family and friends will miss him very much.

He was a member of the Macomb Assembly of God Church.

Memorial Services will be held at 2PM Thursday June 23, 2022 at the Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home, where visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Pastor Mike Williams will officiate.
