James W. Chenoweth, 84, of Bushnell formerly of Macomb passed away at 7:02 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2022 at Courtyard Estates in Bushnell.

He was born on July 22, 1938 in Table Grove to Herman Adolph and Eunice F. Sandidge Chenoweth. He married Ruth Wilson on November 15, 1958 in Macomb. She passed away on May 16, 2921.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; six sisters, Norma Brown, Doris Hunter, Carol Bainter, Roberta Barnes. Barbara Ault and Frances Allison and two brothers, George and Ronald Chenoweth.

Jim is survived by two daughters, Kimberly (Allen) Sprott of Spring Valley, Minnesota and Peggy (Jeff) Mappin of Macomb; four grandchildren, Melissa (Billy) Houston, William RF (Amanda) Harmon, Tasha Mappin and Bryce (Alexandra Rhinehart) Mappin and six great-grandchildren, McKenzie Ebert, Marcus Ebert, Christopher Montgomery, Trinity Ebert Harrison Harmon and Ulysses Harmon.

Jim lived in Macomb, the upper peninsula of Michigan and then moved back to Bushnell in 2013. He was a partner in the Chenoweth Implement Dealership for many years. He was a member of the UP Thunder Rider Snow Mobile Club and also worked as a mechanic for them and the US Forest Service. He served in the National Guard from 1957 to 1967.

He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, riding snow mobiles and boat racing.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial of ashes will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb,
