After winning their first exhibition game against the Maryville Saints Thursday 78-61, The Leathernecks will look forward to winning their final exhibition game as they host Quincy University Today before the start of their regular season. Their exhibition game starts at 5:30 pm here in Macomb.
This gives the Leathernecks another chance to get their bodies conditioned/prepared for ready intense season to come. The leathernecks did fairly well last year as they finished their 2018-19 season 12-18 and 8-8 in their conference. The Leathernecks made push in the Summit League as they lost to Oral Roberts 64-68. They will look forward to making an even stronger push to extend their postseason.
The Leathernecks will head to Columbia, Mo. on Tuesday (Nov. 5) to take on Missouri State for their regular-season opener at 7 pm before returning home to taking on Culver-Stockton Friday, Nov. 8.
