Primus premieres video for ‘Conspiranoid’ EP song “Follow the Fool”

Primus has premiered the video for “Follow the Fool,” a track off the band’s new EP, Conspiranoid.

The clip very much fits in with the “My Name Is Mud” outfit’s brand of weird, cutting footage of an animated jester leading other “fools” to their demise in between shots of sensationalist infomercials.

You can watch the “Follow the Fool” video streaming now on YouTube.

Primus released Conspiranoid, which also features the 11-minute song “Conspiranoia,” in April. It follows Primus’ 2017 album, The Desaturating Seven.

Next week, Primus will perform at a pair of concerts at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre celebrating the 25th anniversary of South Park, for which, of course, Les Claypool and company recorded the theme song. The shows will be recorded for a special airing August 13 on Comedy Central, streaming on Paramount+ starting August 14.
