“It was nice to get a qualifier for Sectional from each squad. Lexi was a little off her best race this year, but still was able to get the job done. Kiana was right in the mix to qualify, but just ran out of gas at the end. She gave it a great shot. Augustus was close to his best race and ran very strong- in the middle of the race especially. Even though the course may be just a hair over 3 miles, it was running about 1 minute and 20 seconds slower timewise due the steep hills in the wooded area, which just wears you down. Even the individual winners were 55 to 60 seconds slower than they’ve run at Peoria this year.” Patrick Hodge-Princeton Coach
