Former NFL star Wide Receiver Vance Johnson used to catch pass from John Elway before drugs and alcoholic took him away from life on the football field to a life of drug seeking behavior. Vance tells WKEI that he used to watch the A & E series intervention and hope that someday, someone would care enough to intervene for him. Finally someone did and Vance’s story of overcoming addiction caught the ear of A & E and when they decided to reboot the series, they approached Vance to be part of the show and help support those that are in need of an intervention on their behalf.
