Ridgewood High School has released details about the team trip to the 8 Man Football State Championship this Friday. On Wednesday, officials at Ridgewood invited the community to cheer on the Spartans as they head to Monmouth on Friday night by releasing the team itinerary as well as a guide for those planning to attend the game. There will be a send-off for the Spartans at 4 PM starting at the high school and proceeding from there to Court Street, turning left on Prospect Street, then left on Exchange Street, then another left on East Street, and finally right on Center Street headed out of town. Everyone is invited to line the way to cheer the Spartans on.
The game will take place on Friday night at April Zorn Memorial Stadium located at 422 North 9th Street in Monmouth. Gates open at 5:30 PM and the kickoff is set for 7 PM. Ridgewood fans attending the game will be on the visitors side of the stands while Amboy fans will be on the home field side. and tickets are $7.00 at the gate. No tailgating is allowed.
