From September 24th-October 1st of 2019, Schuyler County Police Department had their hands’ full as they cite, arrest, and served those participating in unlawful acts in their community. Schuyler County Sheriff, Bill Redshaw, has reported the following actions for each day in order of occurrence.
On September 24th, Robert Thompson (Decatur, IL) was cited for going 72 mile per hour in a 55 mph zone. Also, Than Cung (Kansas City, MO) had a warrant in the county and has remained under arrest in the Schuyler County Jail. His bond is currently $5,000 with a 10% apply rate.
On September 26th, Brittany Muckelston (Rushville, IL) was cited for going 85 mph in a 55 mph zone. Leopoldo Mariscal (Beardstown) was cited for going 76 mph in a 55 mph zone. Also, Tyler McCormick (Beardstown) was cited for going 65 mph in a 55 mph zone.
There was a bunch of action that took place on September 27th including 4 served subpoenas, 4 served summons, 6 animals complaints, 6 motor assist, 3 verbal warnings, and 1 deer/vehicle accident. Nonetheless, Diane Bell (Canton) was cited for 2 counts of a DUI and failure to maintain lane. Lori Haines (Tomball, TX) was cited for illegal transportation of alcohol.
Along with assisting other agencies on 3 different occasions, Schuyler County deputy’s patrolled a total of 2106 miles, housed an average of 22 inmates, and conducted 43 business and personal property checks. Sheriff Redshaw wants to make sure that we understand that all persons are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
